Secure and user-friendly access control

Lenel OnGuard® makes it possible to build anything from small systems with a few card-readers to global systems with several thousand card-readers with access control at doors, gates, parking areas, and other access routes.

The system is based on open standards. Your company is therefore free to choose among a large number of suppliers of security hardware for access control and also free to choose between different technologies for its ID and access cards (PROX, MIFARE and iCLASS).

The company can choose to increase security by using readers with PIN-code key entry or by supplementing selected card-readers with biometric identification, for example iris-scanning and fingerprint recognition.

The administration of access control is fully integrated with the alarm monitoring function and production of ID cards. This makes for a very user-friendly administration when:

New cardholders have to be registered,
Cards need to be designed and produced,
The various levels of access need to be changed, and
When the operator has to monitor an alarm a cardholder has set off.
