User-friendly operation of alarm system 
 
The burglar alarm system in Lenel OnGuard® offers an advanced integration of all the functions in alarm surveillance.
 
This means that the operator can monitor burglar alarms from one central point as well as use functions such as connecting and disconnecting alarm zones. All functions are carried out through the same interface in the system.
 
Also available to the operator is an interactive map that gives a quick overview of the position of all components in the system and the status of each one. The operator can quickly check each component and react to any changes.
 
Alarm signals can be transmitted via a secure and monitored network connection (alarm over IP) or the A-alarm net. Integration also gives the option of combining video and alarm signals to verify alarms. This allows the company to avoid unnecessary call-outs.
 
The system can automatically show recordings from the relevant camera when an alarm is registered. Alternatively, the system can activate lights or a siren, for example. Lenel OnGuard® also ensures that information on every event and operator action is recorded in the system’s database.
